You know how much we love The Morrie in Royal Oak?

Well can you imagine our excitement when the Morrie invited us to have BRUNCH at their new location in Birmingham?! Uh, yeah, SUPER excited.
If you’ve never been to or heard of The Morrie, it’s one of the best places in the metro-Detroit area to eat good food, have great drinks, AND see live entertainment! The Morrie serves as both a restaurant, bar, AND music venue, keeping rock n roll alive with live music during both dinner and brunch/lunch hours! Make sure to check out their website for a full schedule of performances.
Okay, let’s talk BRUNCH!

For starters, we recommend you try one of The Morrie Birmingham’s specialty brunch cocktails. Our favorite, of course, was the Morrie-osa— a bottle of Arte Latino Cava served with fresh OJ. If that’s not your style, there’s something for everyone— from a “bloody Morrie” to gin or a cold-brew coffee & rum drink! Cheers!
Now for the main event… the food!
The Morrie Birmingham’s new brunch menu has a wide variety of different eats. Here are a few of the dishes we tried:

Brisket Bowl: Scrambled eggs, tater tots, smoked brisket, roasted corn, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese.
Loaded Tater Tots: Queso fundido, smoked brisket, caramelized onions, sunny side egg, scallion
Huevos Rancheros: Corn tortilla, black beans, cheddar jack blend, jalapeƱos, roasted tomato salsa, pickled shallots, avocado, sunny side eggs.
Asian Ramen Salad: Crispy chicken, cabbage blend, orange, carrots, bell pepper, radishes, bean sprouts, almonds, sesame seeds, crunchy noodles, peanut curry dressing, and sweet onion vinaigrette.
